Raffaela "Marie" Rizzo Fenn - President

Marie is a creative, resourceful and service-oriented leader with a proven record of accomplishment and success in integrated marketing promotions and communications programs.  Her experience includes image campaigns, grassroots movements, crisis and issues management, constituency-building initiatives, new product development, 

consumer and trade media relations and outreach, organizational leadership and team building. Marie brings more than three decades of professional experience to Ottima Group.  In addition to her career with corporate America, Marie worked in education and later with the NY Times Magazine group in marketing and promotion.  She was also a free-lance journalist. Most recently, Marie served for 12 years as the inaugural President and Managing Director for the National Peanut Board (NPB), a farmer-funded, research and promotion organization. There, she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing programs at the national and international levels.  Prior to NPB, Marie was with Rayonier Inc., a diversified forest and specialty pulp products company, serving as corporate communications expert and a marketing communications leader.


Born in Italy, Marie holds an MBA degree from Jacksonville University. She earned her BA degree in media studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where she graduated magna cum laude. An accredited member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), she is the recipient of dozens of professional and community awards. She serves on several non-profit Boards and makes giving-back an integral part of her daily activities.


Mark Fenn - Managing Director

A Business leader with decades of experiene in operations; finance; accounting; corporate planning and analysis; strategic investments and acquisitions.  Mark is also Managing Directorof our parent organization, Ottima Group, LLC.  Prior to starting the Ottima Group, Mark started Business Planning International specializing in small business 

logistics, remote systems applications for business collaborations, creating business plans, project analysis, financial models and solution implementations. 


Mark held positions at Rayonier Inc., a multinational forest products company, he served in numerous roles including Director Corporate Planning & Analysis responsible for the planning and analysis of strategic growth and acquisition opportunities in the US and Australia.  Assistant Corporate Controller leading financial, accounting and systems function for Forestry, Real Estate and Wood Products Divisions, generating $350 million in sales.  Corporate Director of Financial Planning, responsible for forecasting, budgeting & strategic planning functions.  Mark also held financial management positions at Ingredient Technology Corporation a food ingredient processor and importer; as well as, Microdot Inc., a manufacturer of industrial, automotive and aerospace subassemblies.  Mark serves as busines and strategic planning  advisor to the Board of the California Institute of Food and Agricultural Research at University of California at Davis.


Mark is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and received an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut.

Martin Arnold


An award-winning, independent public relations and communications 

practitioner. He provides writing services, media contact and business development for clients in financial services, tech, manufacturing, real estate, travel, media, construction and non-profit. Arnold is former Director of Corporate Communications for Rayonier, a $1.5 billion forest products company and spin off from ITT. 

         Martin was responsible for financial news handling, advertising, speech writing, exhibits, corporate annual reports. He currently heads up "Chapters" a memoir writing service.
